Almost could not save this shot. I was still set for propeller aircraft shooting and had a nice slow shutter. At least the slow shutter gave a sense of motion to the photo. There was a lot of motion blur and focusing issues that were happening in the original file and I used a lot of Photoshop tricks to clean the image up.
"9 Sqn" RAF Aggressor Typhoon arrives at RAF Lossiemouth after a short few months away at Kinloss Barracks while Lossiemouth had renovations to runways and taxiways in readiness for the new P8 MRA1 Maritime aircraft.

The constant harassment on the poor Puffins from the ever present Gulls was quite hard to watch...but that's nature. They also have young to feed I suppose. If they weren't trying to get down into their burrows then they were intent on relieving them of their sand eel catch upon their return from the sea. The little Puffin's certainly put up a good fight though! 💪❤️
A requested image from my archieves ~ Back story, I had just walked out to one of our garden areas for some flower images. My camera wasn't dialed in for action shots hence the slower shutter speed. Note the bent beak on the aggressor. Not bad for 15yr old technology and bad camera settings.
An F-16C of the 18th Aggressors Squadron from Eilson AFB in Alaska flies low level in California on the Sidewinder low level route,I photographed this same jet 12 months earlier when it was sporting a different blue paint scheme compared to this "splinter" paint scheme.
Family Model
A rare 2-Seat Hunter, along with a pair if Kfirs, made an unscheduled visit to Cecil Field. Still a beauty, after 70 years.
