[10/18/2016] Packed day - morning workout (weightlifting) followed by working from the Beeminder HQ on Beeminder finances. Exciting feature of BeeHQ is they got a microwave (mostly for me so I can bring lunch!) During lunch, I ran over to the XOXO outpost and did a podcast orientation. After work, I had business class at Mercycorps NW (always motivating for the business.) Then headed home, evening with Aaron. Productive day.
I would've tried harder on the exposure for this photo but I really had to get home to pee so I limited myself to 5 attempts. Need to get better at night exposure guesstimation again.

This is an outfit which I made, based on the 1940's and inspired by Marvel's Agent Peggy Carter, specifically an outfit worn in Season 2, Episode 2, "A View in the Dark". The blouse is made from a USA made cotton, with a combo of an old Hollywood #1318 pattern, year 1944, and a McCall #5946 pattern, year 1945, plus some self-drafted changes. The skirt is made in an indigo wash, lightweight cotton denim from a year 2001 Butterick #3134 pattern. I added slanted pockets into the side front panels. I’m not sure about you guys but I think the ABC network really fluffed their lines with their small-screen Marvel series AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. A bland (although obviously beautiful) cast just not even close to capturing the spirit of their big-screen inspiration – even with the...

MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER - "Marvel's Agent Carter," starring "Captain America's" Hayley Atwell, follows the story of Peggy Carter. It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life - Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter." (Marvel)
