This was always known as the Penylan Lawn Tennis Club but seems to have been renamed in the past few years, probably to cater for the needs of it's members. Listed in a 1914 Cardiff Directory so I'd imagine that it was built in the Edwardian era along with the rest of Marlborough road.

Ageing not only aggravates our orientation to the world, but our movement is also hampered. Our steps become more and more uncertain, more painful, and finally we stop. Many of us need to be familiar with the idea of purchasing a wheelchair. “Wheelchair Man” is about protest and resignation.

We all like to have fun and do something different occasionally, hence this image.
The model is a friend of mine, a professional wedding photographer from Manchester. I was playing about with lighting to see what effects I could create. I quite like this one as the low lighting throws shadows across Martin's face defining every crease and wrinkle.
Needless to say Martin hates the image.

Whilst the customers of the grave yard have unfortunately finished their ageing process, the grave yard itself is ageing in what I find to be a rather wonderful way.
