For the Crazy Tuesday topic "Perfume/Aftershave Bottle/Flacon"
Nowadays our perfumes come all sealed up in their product bottles ... but there used to be such a choice of perfume dispensers to choose between! This one is an oval of frosted glass with a cut glass stopper and resting in a cradle of Art Nouveau design. So much more delightful! There's a shot of the other side design (a butterfly) in the first comment field.

My attempt at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Perfume/Aftershave Bottle/ Flacon".
Shot with a Staeble "Magnogon R 105 mm F 5.6" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
Note to self.....Must put on Christmas list...😁. Though not very hopeful this year!!!!!

Perfume bottles are normally a design worth looking at. But sometimes, the boxes where they are packed are also very nice... like this one... just arrived, just opened...
An aftershave bottle on the bathroom window ledge picked up the lines made by the tiles.

Another image of black redstart perched in a gutter or rather on a stalk or flower that lies in the gutter. I distinctly remember making this image because the scene reminded me of Zeus (Greek mythological god) the Lord of the skies who was prone to throwing thunderbolts at anyone who displeased him. When I took the picture I begged for it to come out sharp and I was so pleased it did. I think the only thing that displeased this young bird was the smell of stale piss in the road and gutter... I am sure some folk thought I was wearing some kind of punk aftershave:-)
Arguably the most skittish bird at North Park is the green heron. I hardly ever see them and when I do, they are usually doing whatever they can to put more distance between themselves and me. It must be my aftershave.
Equality, well who could argue with the concept... not me.
So I had this aftershave and had used it just the once before, when I found it with the top off and just a little bit left in the bottle, I wasn’t really that happy, and assumed the little one had been using it, maybe it was really volatile and had evaporated with the top being left off, not the sort of thing I would do as it happens, not good. I used a little of what was left for the next couple of days.
I then just mentioned this to my other half, she thought about it for a second and said that she had been looking for hers... what? You have some too... I then found my own bottle, rather full and with its top on, rather embarrassing lol.
So in shot are two of the same brand and same named perfume/aftershave bottles with their nice coloured lines, curves and interesting IMHO glass bottles... equality well notice one of them is rather larger than the other, albeit somewhat more empty, how equal is that?

Higgins and Main in Winnipeg's downtown, There are always beggars, addicts and sniffers or drunks, and they drink almost anything vanilla, aftershave, booze and more. They sniff or huff, spray paint, glue and more too. But I have never seen two people perched in this particular spot, it's ironic that there are so many demonstrations for assorted causes, but never for these people. I suppose people would rather pretend it's not happening OR their problem.
Dinorwic Quarry
Another photo from a couple of weeks back. A quick stop off at Dinorwic Quarry on Saturday morning before heading home.
The weather has been awful the past couple of weeks so i've not been out with the camera. But I have managed to put together a calendar which i'll be gifting to friends and family for Christmas this year. Oh, and knock off aftershave and perfume, they'll be getting that as well. Managed to get a bargain on 16 100ml bottles!
Crazy Tuesday - Perfume/Aftershave Bottle/Flacon
Unfortunately I am very sensitive to all perfume so very rarely use any. I do have a bottle of 'Tresor' (French for treasure) created by Lancome in 1990 and advertised as "Trésor, the elegance of rose, lily of the valley and lilac and the sparkle of peach and apricot blossom define this luminous fragrance" ........ I use this sparingly on special occasions!!! I have owned this bottle for a number of years and it is always kept in its box in a drawer and has retained its perfume to this day.
