Photographed from a corner of the room where my wife and I got our first Pfizer vaccination for COVID-19.
When arriving we had to fill out a questionnaire. We were issued a pen from a tray labeled "Clean Pens." At the writing station we placed the used pens in a tray labeled "Dirty Pens." Furniture got wiped down after being used. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the overall process.
Shots were administered at the far end of the room. At center is a woman standing, wearing a red jacket---she is waiting to be seated for her shot.
As the needle went into my shoulder-area arm muscle I felt a very brief pain that was not bothersome. I had no aftereffects during the 15-minute waiting period following the shot. This took place at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington.
When I went to bed It felt like I was getting a cold. The next morning I had no cold symptoms but did have a slight soreness at the site of the injection.
This is the first photo I uploaded from my smartphone.

I paraphrased some excerpts from the poem by Edgar Allan Poe, A Dream Within A Dream. Which is in full below.

It took me the longest time to find the music I wanted for this video. Which is La Belle et Le Capitaine composed by Frank Ticheli and performed by Oldham Music Centre Youth Wind Band.

知り合いを撮影しにグリダニアにやってきた。好きな場所を指定したら幻術士ギルドに呼び出された。
なぜナイトが幻術？と思ったが、ここはとても落ち着く精神集中にいい場所なのだそうだ。
グリダニアの中でも特異な空間は職業の枠を超え精神の修行にもなるようだ。
こんな時期だからこそ気をしっかり持たなくてはいけないのかな。
わたしもここで鍛錬すれば写真の腕ももっと上がるかな？

I spent the Friday afternoon wandering around Balboa Park on my day off. I edited these stills together in AfterEffects to do some minor touch-ups, exporting at high definition.
クルザスの山々からも奴は顔を覗かせる。
笛を吹いている男も不安げに奴を見つめていた。
しかしいつもと変わらず笛を吹く。
クルザスは街ほど人も住んでおらず、混乱した様子は全く無かった。
場所によって人々の反応も異なるのはとても興味深かった。
そういう人間模様もフレームに収められればよかったな。
さて、わたしはどこに逃げようかな。そろそろ真剣に考えねば。

The photography of the drawing with grazing light took three full days. Scans with different lenses and after that the stitching of some fifty macro shots with a 60mm MicroNikkor. The resulting file measures 160x220cm/300dpi and will be presented behind Diasec.

グリダニアの北側、劇場の近くで演技の練習をしてるらしき人物を見つけた。
迫真の演技の最中だったのであまり近づくのはやめておいた。しかしこのくらいの距離では全く気が付いてる様子はなかった。よほど集中しているのだろう。
そして演技は進み、最後に方膝を付いて愛の告白をするシーンなのだろうか、気迫が伝わってくる。
演技と分かっていながらも見てるこっちがドキドキしてしまいそうな告白シーン。
こんなのが自分に向けられたものだったら感激して失神してしまいそうだ・・。
はぁ・・そんな人現れてくれないかなぁ・・。

今日は木工ギルドを見学させてもらった。
木のいい香りが立ち込める。
ここでは様々な種族の職人さん達が黙々と作業をしていた。
さすが森に囲まれた国だけあって職人さんの技術や完成品のレベルはとても高い。
奥のララフェルさんは何を作っているんだろう。小さいからだをものともせずせっせと木を削りだしていた。

黒衣森の奥深く、とあるところで発見したもの。
風化し、苔に覆い尽くされていてパッと見この存在に気が付かなそうだが、よく見ると明らかに人工物だ。
この物体は一体なんなんだろう。何かのパーツ？それとも単体で動くもの？形状からして帝国軍の作り出したものなのかな？墜落した乗り物だったりして・・。
皮肉にも朝焼けに照らされてとても神秘的に見える。こっそりとシルフさんがいるのにお気づきだろうか。彼（？）らはこれをどう見てるんだろうなぁ。
しかし最近帝国兵たちの動きが活発になってきていて予断を許さない状態が続いている。この謎の機械のような物騒なものを持ち込まれたら我々た太刀打ちできるのだろうか。正直ちょっと自信がない。ダラガブのこともあるし、どんな未来が待ち受けているのだろう。とても心配だ。
