This is so big, it won't even fit in my light box! As far as I've seen, it's also the first Afrika Korps Tiger I've seen. It's also the most expensive project I've done. Decals given to me by Nick are Uli's

North Berwick Law (Schottland)

But at first sight it really reminds me of Africa! On top it looks like two elephant tusks (see photo in first comment here) ...

Even in the heat of the desert, this soldier still fights valiantly for the Fatherland, his MG shooting down anyone who gets in the way of victory!

The Afrika Korps or German Africa Corps (German: Deutsches Afrikakorps, DAK) was the German expeditionary force in Africa during the North African Campaign of World War II. First sent as a holding force to shore up the Italian defense of their African colonies, the formation fought on in Africa, under various appellations, from March 1941 until its surrender in May 1943. The unit's best known commander was Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. Since Hitler forbade any evacuation of troops, the Heeresgruppe Afrika surrendered with 275,000 men, among them the soldiers of the Afrika Korps, on 11 May 1943.
