Black fronted dotterels also known as black fronted plovers, Elseyornis melanops, taken in the Kimberley, Western Australia.
They typically feed in freshwater wetlands.
This pair were not at all afraid of people which made them wonderful photographic subjects.

Well... my sleep time still bad lol, i got sad and i think it still afecting me.

This hare (Lepus europaeus) is running towards me. Moments and a few stops later it was sitting only two metres (six and a half US feet) away from me. After a short while it quietly went on. I heard about it only last week. 'We have this hare that is not afraid of humans.' We know the hare as shy and afraid and are puzzled by this strange behaviour.

This beautiful cat seems to be gone - forever, I'm afraid -- s/he loved to be with people, who showed him/her any interest... And just like so many cats she did not avoid vehicles.

chai and I are getting very old together, Leon joins us.
and my wonderful kind brother is still in the ICU trying to get well. he is, I'm afraid losing his battle. I think he must be so tired now.

Not the famous Glenfinnan viaduct i'm afraid, this wee one's on the shores of Loch Nan Uamh / Glen Mama, South Morar.
Capturing the train was a real bonus as i just went down to photograph the viaduct !

Today was nice and sunny, but the other day it was wet, rainy and windy! That didn't deter me from the Botanical Garden. And neither was this pretty Marmalade Hoverfly afraid of the wet. It's going for Mullein's pollen...
And look at those beautiful Mullein flower parts!
One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Crack".
Not afraid to admit that I had to slightly crop this to get a macro image out of it... didn't want to risk that beautiful lens (you can take a look at the album, if you want to see this underrated classic).
Still - I just love looking into the fire and I'd really like to get significantly closer to the details. Maybe with a longer focal length lens and a proper setup in the future.
