This hare (Lepus europaeus) is running towards me. Moments and a few stops later it was sitting only two metres (six and a half US feet) away from me. After a short while it quietly went on. I heard about it only last week. 'We have this hare that is not afraid of humans.' We know the hare as shy and afraid and are puzzled by this strange behaviour.

it was pretty exciting to spot this guy. He was about double the size of my large housecat. When he knew I had spotted him, he hunched down and checked me out. Everyone thinks I should have been afraid, but really the only thing I was afraid of was missing the shot! The neighbor man said this guys passes through regularly.
