This image was taken while cruising the waterways of the Tonle Sap Lake to Phnom Penh.

These three days of October were the latest time in the year that I've ever visited dacha: summer in Siberia is so short that even August can be all rain and frost. This time was wonderful, though.

Description: I took this picture at approximately 6pm on February 19th, 2016 on the back of a motorized canoe accompanied by our captain and two fellow travelers. The sunset was unlike any I've seen before. the sky was on fire, the moon was shining and the manmade lake was like glass. People were hard at work on lake, as it is notorious for the floating farms. We crossed the diameter in roughly 45 minutes to be welcomed into a village upon stilts in the lake, the way these people have designed a new way of life to be one with the water was impeccable. The water serves as their purpose. They live in and by the water it is their lifeline and at that a beautiful lifeline nonetheless.
