The Saxon sword was found deep in the bed of the River Frome during the construction of South Bridge in 1927. It was conserved at the British Museum and then deposited at the Dorset County Museum. It was loaned to Wareham Museum in 2012 and again in 2014 under the "Effective Collections" programme.

The sword was made of iron and the hilt and about half the blade survive. The guard was originally decorated with thin plates of copper and silver. The handle grip was covered in antler and there are remains of incomplete inscriptions on it. The inscription on the handle is in Anglo-Saxon capital letters and the language may be Old English. The first part of the inscription is part of the name of the owner of the sword. The name begins with Aethel, a name only used by members of the royal family or aristocracy of Wessex. The second part means ‘owns me.’

It is an Anglo-Saxon sword, and the style of decoration and the lettering indicate a tenth century date. Swords like this are very rare. They were the ultimate status symbol for rich and powerful men in Saxon times.

We know that Wareham was an important town in the Kingdom of Wessex in later Saxon times, and there was probably a royal palace here. Viking raiders from Denmark attacked this area in AD 998 and 1015, and it is possible that the sword was lost in a skirmish with these raiders. Or, the sword may have been thrown into the river as a ritual offering, or to prevent its use after its owner’s death."

Latexshinex - The goddess of power by Shiny-Moniree

Latexshinex is a prominent deity within Superverse 002, specifically originating from Multiverse 0028, where she is revered as the Goddess of Power. Her name is derived from her affinity for shiny objects and her particular fondness for latex, which she incorporates into the worlds she creates for female inhabitants to enjoy. Her true form is said to be of such unparalleled beauty that only the highest gods and goddesses can perceive it without being overwhelmed.

Initially, Latexshinex operated within Multiverse 0028 alongside Starsun, the God of the Cosmos. Starsun, being the creator of existence and capable of forming and dissolving universes at will, provided the foundational space for Latexshinex to manifest her creations. Over eons, they collaboratively shaped Multiverse 0028. However, their existence in this multiverse was disrupted when an external force transported them to a "shiny gold dimension." Subsequently, a being named Zencosmoe intervened, returning them to Superverse 002, though Multiverse 0028 was among the multiverses that had vanished. This event led to Latexshinex and Starsun becoming outcast deities, finding a new home in Multiverse 0018.

In Multiverse 0018, Latexshinex and Starsun encountered other outcast deities: Gimmorrighte, the Goddess of Light; Vida, the Goddess of Life; and Aeon, the God of Time. Later, Rubberrocken, a latex goddess of protection from Multiverse 0018 and Universe-17Z9, joined their ranks. This collective of deities collaborated to forge new universes, including Universe-27b2, which was designed to house numerous worlds filled with powerful artifacts.

During this period of creation, they encountered Goldglossin, a being composed of shiny gold latex whose intentions and power were initially ambiguous. Despite Rubberrocken's initial reservations, Goldglossin was accepted into their group. Goldglossin subsequently named the world Rubberia, due to its abundant rubber resources. Following this, they created Dommalex, a world intended to be rich in power, magical items, and diverse races.

Gimmorrighte established a sacred crystal cave within Dommalex for the deities to worship higher beings like Zencosmoe. However, Goldglossin, driven by vanity, refused to worship anyone, instead desiring to be worshipped herself. Latexshinex, demonstrating her creative power, crafted the Stone of Seeing and bestowed it upon Aeon. She also forged the Sword of Obliteration which could take worlds apart," "cut off timelines," and even "cut shadows and light, She gifted it to Rubberrocken, replacing her previous Sword of Destruction whitch could cut through any material. Latexshinex further influenced the worlds by creating vast trees that produced white liquid latex, intended for the future creation of shiny latex clothing.

Goldglossin's insatiable greed for latex and her ambition to rule as a "shiny sexy latex goddess" led to her downfall. Latexshinex, in response to Goldglossin's attempts to seize power, imprisoned her within the crystal cave, which was then renamed the Cave of Greed. Goldglossin's powers were turned against her, confining her as the goddess of greed. She has been trapped there for 10,000 years, a consequence of Latexshinex's actions.

The lore surrounding the Cave of Greed dictates that Goldglossin can only escape if she creates ten evil queens embodying the trait of lust. The other deities contributed to her confinement: Aeon manipulated time within the cave, making one year outside equivalent to 100 years inside; Rubberrocken created treacherous storms and high waves around the cave, making it difficult to approach by sea; Vida ensured that only the glossy compass-eel knew the way to the cave; and Gimmorrighte worked to keep darkness at bay, preventing others from seeking out the cave.

2,000 years after the rule of The evil latex Empress Shimmerah was cast away by Aeon god of time. Shimmerah had returned to fully take over the world of Dommalex. Latexshinex knew a little of her evil and seeing she was only a pretty human lady she not looked into her power as much as she should had done. Shimmerah a year later towered over the realm of heaven after she had become the new ruler of hell. Shimmerah power was beyond after she gotton a magical wishing lamp and wish for the power to take all and want ever she wanted there for ruling all the Multiverse as a new goddess. The other goddess and gods tryed to stop her but had there powers taken given her them powers. Starsun was turned to dust and the other 4 made into Shimmerahs play things to worship her and her only. Shimmerah started to take to powers from Latexshinex but was saved by Zencosmoe who pulled her out of the Multiverse and into the Superverse. Zencosmoe put Latexshinex into Multiverse-0007 where she joined with 3 other goddess, Aethel goddess of life and death, Somnia goddess of the dream worlds with her pet demon on a lead named Phantasma who once controlled Nightmares. and Chronia the goddess of time. Latexshinex goddess of power was welcomed to there new heaven and told the other three to what had happend with the human girl Shimmerah.
