An airplane engine like this has a diameter of about 3,2 meters, large enough to fit a small car inside. A curious fact is that it can generate enough thrust to move an entire freight train, showcasing the immense power required to keep an airplane in the air. Interesting, isn’t it?
This capture features two very different aircraft side by side: the NH90 NFH naval helicopter and the T-6 Texan II trainer.
NH90 NFH – a modern naval helicopter capable of anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, and troop transport, combining speed, range, and versatility for maritime operations.
T-6 Texan II – a single-engine turboprop trainer, widely used to teach military pilots precision flying, aerobatics, and basic operational skills.
