From my grandfather's store. This hung on a light switch pull cord, and it was the custom to bat at it when walking underneath. I'm surprised it held up so well.
This is the second one of these old signs that I've run across over the years. One has to wonder how effective the message is. It seems to suggest there might already be suspicion about the health effects of tobacco smoke. As it turns out using this product could cost one a pile of gold in health care cost.

A piece of advertising that I found recently. Isn't it amazing how sex sells. From the tag in the corner it looks as though it has appeared in Playboy at some point but I don't know where it is originally from.
