A week away from Flickr and Facebook, so now it's catchup!!!

Being a wife and a mother, having my own photography business and working part-time, it seemed like a good idea to fill a few more hours in a week with another evening class course. I keep telling myself it's only three hours a week, plus travelling time, plus homework. But we'll fit it in. Oh yeah, "we" - because The Husband's coming with me, too :)

The old adult learning art studio at Newton Abbot library & learning centre, with a two-floor store at one end. Shows the building's high ceilings and windows. This room will become part of the County Council's Learning Disability centre in Teignbridge, as well as continuing to be an art studio in the evenings.

Excavations have had to be made on the ground floor to provide a strong, solid surface for building temporary bracing to the upper floors.

The east stairwell and landings to each floor of Newton Abbot library & learning centre have felt a bit run-down and clinical for a while. The refurbishment will make it much more welcoming.
