Pre-construction Phase: Top floor 'Studio'. The room has been all but emptied of furniture. A few holes can be seen in the walls where asbestos testing has taken place.
This room will be used by the learning disability support team in the daytime and will continue to be an adult learning art room in the evenings. It will have improved storage facilities, new furniture, an interactive whiteboard, a sink for art and a separate kitchenette, not to mention better lighting, heating and decor.

These are some stone birds I have on my outdoor table, which I failed to bring inside before our first hard freeze after a rain. (they are inside now, safe & warm). I wanted to use some of my new texture lessons from Kim Klassen's class(kimklassen.squarespace.com/elements-skinny-mini-ecourse/ ) and a texture that I found from Ms. Bailey (www.flickr.com/photos/milesbeyondthemoon/4669404205/) .Here is the result. And, the worst part is , I probably won't remember what the fix is the next time it happens. YIKES!!!! PS: I also negotiated a refund from my on-line download purported to fix my computer which didn't work. I will be absent again for awhile as I have to take care of too many picture files and family.
