What a sucker. It's so easy to poach at a conference

These people popped up on numerous pages on the site and started talking. Luckily a mouseover them helped reveal that you could, indeed shut them up. Still baffled why anyone would voluntarily put this one their site. It's a shame, since it's otherwise a lovely site.

Reminds me of when the DHTML pop-ups that flew past a screen started showing up about 5 years ago. I suppose this is meant to get potential attendees laughing at the jokes the little people make on the web site.

Me, I'm here to browse for content... is that not done anymore, or must I be entertained at the same time?
