Looking through my files, I will be late with commenting as we have company and a lot going on, I may not post everyday, still flickr is addictive and its hard to not take a peak, will see how it goes.
This photo is very addictive of Edmonton. Very often you will see rain or shine in the distance with the opposite looming above you. This is also from my first roll with my new Contax G2! Very sexy machine. So far so good.
Ergo I am bound.

I am in the process of making them all work together, but still have issues with extremes.
I am plagued with anxiety. As much as I want some thoughts to stop (and doctors want to medicate) I would only suffocate my creativity by taming my spitfire brain.
This could have been inherited through addictive personalities raising me or watching others stifling their own thoughts of passion (I tend to go against the grain).
And while I'm still in the process of nurturing this brainchild I still fight with the need to organize, be responsible, and filter what others know about me.

These are rather addictive to knit so be prepared to knit them all! I will be knitting more of these as soon as I finish the slippers i'm knitting for my dad. If anyone is interested in the book its called 55 Christmas Balls to Knit by Arne & Carlos.
Found this one in my archives.... this was obviously when I was going through my Fractilous faze.!!
There is something so addictive about this filter..
My name is Chris and I'm a fractoholic!
There is something about elephants and mud. So addictive to watch and if you head for Kanga Camp in Mana Pools you can watch the action all day from the comfort of a soft arm chair or sofa.

The Milky Way through the Cholla Cactus Garden. In Joshua Tree National Park, this area is home to some interesting desert flora. The jumping chollas, as they're known, are bunched together in the Southern end of the park. I used an LED light panel, at a very low intensity, to bring out the detail in the foreground. The processing is very mild, as far as Milky Way pics go, and I do admit to some editing of the color temperature too. This style of photography is very addictive. I am looking for the where and when of my next adventure as we speak. Something close or something far. In the mountains or the desert. California has so much to offer. I'll be keeping you in the loop. Stay tuned for updates.

A very brief visit to Greylake this afternoon - brief as having the window open in the hide let the wind in full in the face and it was freezing. When I got back to the car someone had loaded up the bird tables and I noticed that the Chaffinches, especially the females, would have a little hover before settling - so I decided to have a go. Not as easy as expected - the slightest movement and the camera would then focus, understandably on the background, so I'm quite pleased with this as a first stab - can see how this could be quite addictive and with some effort and luck some great results could come.
I normally shoot stuff in one photographic exposure but the two elements for this shot are 185 miles apart. Leaving an open shutter capped for maybe 4 hours would have blown my sensor so I made use of the addictive Sony A7 multiple exposure app....

Taken recently on Skomer island - there is something infuriating but completely addictive about trying to capture these magic little characters in flight, as they return to their burrows with food for the young Pufflings waiting patiently underground.
Nice to bump into fellow Flickr-ite Rob Cross on the island - many of you will know his photostream already but for those who don't please do call in on his images, you will not be disappointed.
Ces mésange sont très addictives elle sont de quatre à six mésanges dans ma cours arrière qui capte mon attention la meilleur chose à faire sortir la caméra et tirer un bon coup comme on dit dans notre language et voici le résultat

I am just in love with this photo right now. Gosh, I need a pair of shorts like Willow, LOL. Just finished these last night, and I am so happy with how they turned out. :D

I heard stories about how addictive it was to shoot the ice on the beaches in Jökulsárlón, Iceland. Between the beauty of the glowing sunrise colors appearing through clear and blue glacial ice and the excitement of the crashing waves, it was a thrill like no other.
In planning my trip, I gave myself time to return to the area after taking a workshop from Tony Prower (highly recommended, by the way). This proved to be a really good move because it taught me about the location and the technique before I set out to use them both on my own...
There is a lot more to this post... see the rest of the backstory, how I got the shot, and get free wallpaper from www.coloradocaptures.com/arctic-morning-ice-melt.
This picture indicates towards the harmful and addictive effects of smoking. It implicates the darkness looming from the shadow of smoke while the light of life incinerates.

Curse Save by the Bell reboot being addictive. Chasing waterfalls is sad and a little morbid. We've come a long way since the days of Brigderton.

*BTW the jeans @ Epiphany are so worth it. They fit most bodies on grid including Kupra which is why I headed straight for it.
Another just after sunrise composition of one of these photographically addictive little common darter dragonflies . Cloaked in diamond encrusted like dew , with the rising sun lighting up the now dry grasses behind . This little dragonfly will wait for the warmth of the early morning sun to dry off the dew then start another day on the grassland.
A sharp full image of a beautiful butterfly: Bath White (Pontia daplidice) . This is probably the best shot i had for this butterfly. Macro photography is not an easy art to master, and it is very addictive. I am having a hard time detaching this sweet macro lens from the camera - I am sure the birds noticed that :)
Thank you for your comments and faves. It is by viewing your work i am learning to master mine, and it is by your encouraging remarks that i get much rewards.
A pair of boys, while sitting in mid-morning on the roadside, are well focused on the screen of their smartphones as they play some online games, which seem to be so enjoyable that they spend too much time on them.
Captured at a village in Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
These Nightjars are becoming rather addictive. I managed to take this photograph last night in the twilight and was really pleased with the plumage detail. The males glide around with their triangular tail fanned showing off the white corners. They also clap their wings above their backs making a sound just like hand clapping. They only become active well after sunset so photographing flying birds in good light is a non-starter.
Shooting these birds can be quite addictive!!!!
Today was a great day with La Maquisarde, who is incredible at handheld shots!!!

We spent time at Redwood Shores and some time chasing after Kites and Hawks at Half Moon Bay!!
It's pretty addictive having complete control over a scene being able to adjust the lighting and/or colours as you so wish, and of course the complete freedom to set the focal point and camera angle to anywhere.
