ADDICTED Play, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland - April 24, 2018 (U.S. Army Photos by Sean Kief)

Uma festa essencial para todos os alucinados, compulsivos, viciados e adictos ao ROCK!

I did a recent project on Heroin addicts. I found this really interesting in looking how drug addiction affects the skin. I first started out by paling the skin and adding some green pigment in the foundation, to make her look ill. I then defined her bones with a darker foundation, as heroin addicts lose alot of weight. I noticed in photos that the eyes were quite red due to lack of sleep, i used illustrator to give that effect. For the spots i used sculpt gel and coloured with illustrator so they would look prominant and raw. The teeth are one if the most obvious things when looking at references, I used Ben Nye tooth colour to reshape her teeth and to make them look decayed. I finally added some water to her roots to make them look greasy.

Fulfill Requirement 5

This photo is taken by capturing a bunch of random pills around the technology devices to highlight the theme of technological addiction, one kind of addiction. In real life, this could be bad since the addicts sometimes cannot control themselves from spending money just to always stay updated with the newest products from their favorite brands even if they don't need the upgraded version of the products.

Requirement 5 is met by randomly placing pieces in front of the camera lens, which causes viewers to feel hard to identify the main object of the image. Besides, the failure to accomplish the rule of thirds even intensify this confusion. However, this random organization in fact highlights the state of addiction in something (in this case is technology), in which the addicts cannot control themselves but instead keeping themselves with that addicted state.

Notice that I set the aperture value to be big enough so that most of the objects in the image can be seen clearly because the objects in the photo are placed at varied distanced relative to the camera lens. To balance out the darkness caused by the aperture value, I set the exposure time and ISO values to 1/10 and 1250, respectively, so that the exposure looked good while the objects in the photo were not really noisy.

During post-processing, I changed the White Balance preset to Black-White Landscape to further highlight the gloomy theme when someone is addicted to something (as sometimes they cannot control themselves). I also modified slightly the exposure to create a good aesthetic effect.

Note: The pills in the picture are just random sinus pills and the pills I got when removing my wisdom teeth. It is only be used to symbolize the state of being addicted to something so we want to cure it with pills and NOTHING ELSE. I apologize for any possible misunderstanding if anyone has.

In all its forms, addiction is another unfortunate symptom of contemporary life that enslaves us, stealing our true potential. But when we become addicted to understanding our identity beyond body and mind, the doorway to true freedom swings wide open.

MILAN (Reuters) - A marble sculpture of a cut-off hand with the middle finger stuck up has gone on display in front of the Milan Stock Exchange, provoking a lively debate in Italy's financial capital.

Bring me to my knees

As only you can

Swirled & surreal

This fantasy never to seperate

From the reality that is us.

Finite and beyond

Power in depths I cannot jest

Surely you know

The effect you have on me.

Intoxicated.
