“I admire addicts. In a world where everybody is waiting for some blind, random disaster, or some sudden disease, the addict has the comfort of knowing what will most likely wait for him down the road. He's taken some control over his ultimate fate, and his addiction keeps the cause of death from being a total surprise.” Chuck Palahniuk

Don't worry, they're just mints :D

I found this on the J-Walk Blog. Please God don't let Justin ever end up like this!

Flickr is my drug of choice. I love flickr and I can understand needing a massage every now and again. Tonight's massage left me twitching. I know I had several symptoms of withdraw. It's sad. I'm an addict.

black is boring, but i got it for free so i'm using it for now until i get my pink one! =)

Is there a group that addresses Flickeritis?

It's before 5 am and I'm Flickering! A hundred ideas flood my mind so I can not sleep! What have I gotten myself into? This is take 3 for the group 52 weeks. A self-inflicted photo, once a week. For the next one... hmm... how about a tourist lounging on a beach chair at a white sanded beach in Vieques, Puerto Rico?

For our Special Fx module at college we were asked to create a full face look inspired by 'drug addicts' or 'tramps'. The look needed to include a wound and glycerin to add a 'sweaty' look.

Process:

I started off the makeup using eyeshadows to make myself seem 'ill' or 'tired'. Because I am already pale I didn't need to make my skin tone lighter but I did add a layer of concealer to my lips. To make myself look tired and sick, I used a range of deep reds and yellow eyeshadows around the eyes to add discolouration and fatigue. For my Special Fx wounds I added a small amount of latex to my cheek bone to act as a scar, which I applied a light brown shade on top. I also used a small amount of latex on the lip, as a cut and used red shadows and a small amount of blood.

With glycerin which I transferred into a spray bottle, I sprayed my forehead to create a sweaty look which worked well but felt very oily. I back combed my hair and the look was finished.

Twitter addiction presented in a pretty funny way.

He loves tv! And it's the wierdest things that catch his eye, like this comercial for instance! Nothing kiddy about it, a boring guy talking about who knows what. But it's like he was in a trance!! Funny! 365kids/59
