Caitlin, without a lighter, desperately trying to light a cigarette with a bbq/charcoal lighter. It doesn't work very well, although after many, many tries she finally got the damn thing lit. I don't smoke, and I hate cigarettes, so I am completely unsympathetic, but I thought the frustration on her face spoke volumes.
I was invited to take pictures of Sidd and His Self-Esteem in action during one of their rehearsal sessions two Saturdays ago. They mentioned about using some of their photos for their upcoming album.
There are some gems that came out from the shoot but this is one of my favourites.

TV Addict
It's been a long time since I've really been addicted to TV. The internet fills the void that the boob tube used to when I was a kid. I even went through a few years where I didn't watch much of anything. But now shows like The Office, Parks & Rec, Doctor Who, and the Daily Show, etc. are taking up all my time. And I don't regret a thing.
Strobist: This was a bit of a hodgepodge set. To the left and slightly in front of me was an Interfit EX150 through an umbrella, with a large piece of wood leaning up against the side to prevent light spill over. On my right almost 90 degrees was another Interfit EX150 going through a 45 inch umbrella, which I had draped a black cloth over one half to prevent spillover. Took me way to long to setup this shot, which was triggered by hotshoe.

Le gaufrier miniature est fonctionnel, mais c'est à l'évidence un jouet . Quant-à la tabatière, c'est la première fois que je trouve une boîte à décors savoyard .

A never-ending video game that Katie, Catie, and I have been playing for months now. Every time we're together, we spend at least an hour playing. It's all I've been thinking about all day and I've been dying to play. Since I wasn't able to get to Catie's house to play, I thought I'd enter the game myself. ;)

I recently have strange feeling. Thinking about durian quite often. Am I a Japanese, I wonder. In my country durian is so expensive and it is not popular at all. But "durian", "durian", "durian", is what I am thinking. I am still thinking about durian. Then finally I bought this from a fruit shop. Do NOTcall me durian massa.

One of my favourite songs. Want to make something like a series with addictions.. and since love is one of the biggest.. let me begin this year with it. For me the rose is the material symbol of love.. no idea why.. that's why i used it. The style of the photo is too different from what i'm aiming for.. but eh. Next time better. :)
