The department of art & design hosted the Bigs and Littles from the Ada Friends program. Ada Friends is a local program which integrates college students and Ada elementary students in a mentorship program similar to a Big Sisters/Big Brothers program. ONU students are paired with Ada Elementary students to meet once a week for the entire school year to do activities of their choosing. The elementary students benefit from the stable, positive influence of the college students as role models, mentors, confidantes, tutors and friends. Pictured here are a number of vessels completed at the ceramics workshop held on March 21.
