Under the Tamkeen Project, active learning sessions were conducted as part of the Summer Club at the Tamkeen Center in Lattakia Governorate (July 27, 2026), reaching 557 children and students (207 in Jableh and 350 in Sqoubin).

The activity focuses on monitoring the implementation of interactive educational activities to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for children. It also aims to promote facilitators' application of holistic, integrated learning approaches while ensuring the availability of necessary resources for successful delivery

This activity is part of the Tamkeen project, which aims to (re) engage Conflict-affected and vulnerable children and young people (aged 3-24), especially vulnerable girls, IDPs, and children and young people with disabilities in safe and quality learning and development through non-formal, community-based settings, and to strengthen the capacity of local partners and communities. This activity is co-financed by SDC and AKFUK and implemented by AKF in collaboration with Albatoul Association.
