One of the many active learning classrooms at the University of Minnesota, home of a ton of research on these classrooms
Dr. Rich Glor and Dr. Rafe Brown with the herpetology division held a field herpetology summer class designed to introduce students to the local herpetofauna and methods for conducting field surveys. They led 12 students on a two-week long fieldtrip across many different counties in Kansas and collected countless different species of amphibians and reptiles. Photographs were taken while the students visited the Alexander Ranch in Barber County, Kansas. KU Alum and local naturalist, Eric Rundquist , was a guest instructor.
