Had a fuzzless head laying around and one extra uniform. So I decapitated an Action Man and reattached Duke's head. Now I have three of these guys. Two original. Maybe this is an salution for all of them, cause I don't like the HOF bodies. Very bad articulation, like giant playmobil figs ;P
This was my first vintage Action Man. The uniform is from the 'escape from Colditz' set. The hands are repro. I found the figure on a flea-market for 1 gilder (with dried out broken hands). I found all 3 Escape from Colditz uniforms with almost all assosoires for 5 euro's on another flea-market a few years later.
During this shoot I accidentally broke the scope of his snipergun :( Luckily it was a clean break and it's easy to glue, but still...booooh!!!
Can't stop making pictures of this guy! The most busted-up, cutt- off modern 12' Joe I have, but I love him! :D
Bought the bear and 1 of the bats today, but their arms were switched. When I tried to switch them back, one arm broke of both figs. Man I was pissed. I repaired this one, by first nail a hole in the right arm and then put a little screw in it. And luckily I could pop it back in :D No visible damage and he still can move. A proud moment for a unhandyman like me ;P
Got me another vintage Captain Zargon figure from evilbay. This one has the right boots and arm thingies. Now looking for his visor and sword-gun :)
This somewhat battered photo is of me, munching popcorn in the staff room of the old Forum cinema in Lime Street. I wasn't so camera-shy back then and the reason WHY I'm in the staff room of the ABC-owned cinema is because my auntie Pat worked there and so did my mum...she's the one who took this picture, which could do with a bit of restoring. I've got another one of me somewhere (and I hope I haven't lost it) of me outside Lewis's but slightly younger.
Now that I can scan pictures, I hope to scan a couple of me when I was three.
