And now for something completely different. Played with taking still photos on my husband's GoPro at the pool today. Dad volunteered to dive into the water for some underwater shots.

Our new toy from Amazon! See next shot for a photo taken from it. It wouldn't replace my Canon G7xii or even iPhone, but hopefully we'll get some fun from it, and it cost way less than a GoPro!

Drove from Knoxville to Nashville. Stayed overnight at Motel 6 by the airport (would not recommend). Flew up to Toronto on Swoop Airlines (from BNA) and we got picked up by Beth's Dad.
Then we drove up to the Limerick Lake Lodge & Marina. Switched vehicles; taking his Pontoon boat to the family cottage.
Spent a few days enjoying the sunny and cooler temps. Visited some family in Toronto on July 10th.
Stayed overnight in Mississauga at the Quality Inn by Choice Hotels on Airport Road. Flew back to Nashville on July 11th.
Drove home, but stopping at the newly-opened Buc-ee's location in Crossville.

With the hurricane Irma and Jose passed and with the country working on a full recovery and normality on every aspect of life I hope it's reefs starts recovering also little by little and we are still able to contemplate this beauty that Mother Nature offers us. They need our help and if we start taking care of humanity, taking care of each other and taking care of nature we will all live in a wonderful and peaceful place and all of us will be able to enjoy it. The GoPro HERO5 Session is a powerful and compact action camera, but it has one problem: there's no easy way to attach a filter to the front of it. Enter the Fotodiox Session ND filter. In just a couple of seconds, you can add a neutral density filter to your GoPro Session.

The GoPro HERO is a great test camera. Here we're using it to test how long a prototype battery adapter will power a variety of LED lights. We set it to take one photo every minute in time lapse mode, leave it running overnight, and then look at the JPEGs in the morning to see how long each light lasted. For this shoot we're using our TurboPack 9000 external battery to keep the GoPro running all night. Very effective.

It's only the GoPro Hero Session, the quality is decent but it's nothing spectacular with the photo's. I need to mess around with the settings to see if I can get more out of it but i think i'm at the highest it can go.
Still, it's just great fun to mess around with and super practical.
