It is exactly what I did. I literally kissed the sun at Dead Valley, CA in 95-104°F (35°C) dry heat for few days. I'm back and I took nearly 1,332 photos. Don't worry! Flickr will only see about five of them. :-))
I will catch up with your photo stream after I get some good sleep.
