I'm proud to be a member of the Fon wifi community... and they even sent me the access point for FREE!!! I look at it this way, maybe I found my new hobby. I will become a wifi overlord. Yep.

Hmmm, FCC id refers to FON2100, and you can see a chip with FON label,
but it's an Open-Mesh device...

Boven een Asus RT-N66U in gebruik als router en WiFi accesspoint. Deze is verantwoordelijk voor de routering. De DrayTek modem/router eronder is van T-Mobile Thuis (voormalig Vodafone Thuis). Deze is volledig dichtgetimmerd en is daarom enkel een doorgeefluik. De gele kabel links is de glasvezelkabel welke middels een converter in de SFP poort gaat. De DrayTek is direct op de NTU blindplaten geplaatst. Onder nog een aansluiting van Ziggo (voormalig UPC), maar deze is niet in gebruik.

I was performing upgrades, and additions to a network I administer. Had to bring an access point temporarily closer to a location, to speed up mesh deployment. I plonked it on the counter, through the hatch, and thought that should do it. Later, looking from the other side, I had to take a photo of the crowd gathered to admire this newcomer.
