Old accessories displayed in a shop window: men’s caps, scarves & gloves, draped over traditional luggage. This is one of my favourite shop windows that I look forward to seeing. as they always have beautiful displays

Listening to The Doors this afternoon during the storm.. here's another self-portrait from my Bohemian Garden photographic event at The Hacienda, London.
This entire set was created for said incredibly expensive specific photographic project where a portion of the proceeds went to the charity Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The consensus here is that the bottle is a reservoir for brake fluid. We doubt the bottle was standard Ford equipment. I thought this might be a Chivas Regal whisky bottle, but I might have been wrong.

Thanks for looking! I appreciate feedback.
Pattern for 1955 tweed handbag. VERY IMPORTANT make sure this prints out on 8.5 x 11 inch paper or the pieces of the pattern probably will not fit.
WEEK 33 – Columbus Kmart Closing, Set 6
I honestly did not realize I captured the accessories department as well as I have, if today’s uploads have been any indication, lol :P I can guarantee this is my last shot of the area, though, and it’s also my closest, evidently taken from within the department itself. Lots of hats, purses, and sale signs here – as to be expected, of course.
Out in the actionway adjacent to this department (see the previous image) were a bunch of pallet drops filled to the brim with pillows – that reminds me that we actually did buy a flag pillow while we were here :P

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

This cloisonné tray was in the beach house when Frank's parents bought it in the early 1940s. They purchased the house from a well-to-do minister and his wife who also had a large home in a tony district of Portland.
The motifs suggest the object was associated with card playing. I'm inclined to think it was brought out when the ladies came by to play bridge or canasta. What I do not know is its function. The shape is wrong for an ashtray, and its surface shows no traces of cigarette burns or ashes. It isn't large enough for snacks. Might it have held the pack of cards?
It's difficult to believe that the tray was made by human hands. It's that delicate.
"Cloisonné (French pronunciation: [klwazɔne]) is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects. In recent centuries, vitreous enamel has been used, and inlays of cut gemstones, glass and other materials were also used during older periods. The resulting objects can also be called cloisonné. The decoration is formed by first adding compartments (cloisons in French[1]) to the metal object by soldering or affixing silver or gold wires or thin strips placed on their edges. These remain visible in the finished piece, separating the different compartments of the enamel or inlays, which are often of several colors. Cloisonné enamel objects are worked on with enamel powder made into a paste, which then needs to be fired in a kiln."

For a photo challenge this week, I used my smartphone to take photos looking straight down at my subject. I found this resulted in some interesting lines, shapes, and textures versus an emphasis on the object itself.
One of my projects this week... Sorry not in 1:6 or 1:4 scale... its life size, almost 5 feet long and fully embellished... my clients are crazy, i never asked where they will use this. LMAO.
