After much head waggling, wing flapping and general displaying, the female least tern appears ready to accept the fish from the male. Notice how they are looking at each other. This image is 2 minutes later than my last post.
My sincere thanks to all who spend the time to view, like or comment on my photos. It is much appreciated!

Was going to end this series but thought it's the weekend so I will finish up with the ending as it is.
Here she accepts the nesting material and he is trying to leg up for the act of love and still cannot get into position to complete the act.
This is my post for tomorrow due to a very early shoot, and hoping for some good things.
Have a great weekend, a great day and thank you so very much for visiting.
Every colour of the rainbow is allowed and accepted in a needle eye. Did my best trying to create colour wheel :-) I certainly enjoyed this challenge and had a great time creating this shot. HMM everyone!

The Sirius Anomaly deals with the loss of my lil dude Loki, the German Shepherd lab mix I fathered for 13 years. The photos in the series are meant to represent the five steps of grief. However, they are about fighting through the suffering of losing something precious. I am not sure if I did the feelings justice, but they were for me to process and think more deeply on the loss. I am sorry to those that are close to me if I have been distant lately. I typically do not like to bring people into that space with me.

In the semi-wilderness of central Portugal it is impossible to maintain a weed-free garden...so I go with the flow and enjoy the beauty of the seed heads, not to be distracted by the tut-tuts of garden purists

For the first few weeks we had given them plenty of room around the nest, and remained in the same place each visit.
On this day, he chose to fly in and land on a close branch. Confident, he seemed to tolerate our intrusion on his work.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo❤️
A new cat has been abandoned nearby. He seems slightly feral, but perhaps just frightened after previous experience with people.
The Photographic Society of New Zealand national convention is on this weekend in Queenstown. I was extremely "lucky" to have all my entries in the Open projected image category Accepted!

"A man who took great pride in his lawn found himself with a large crop of dandelions. He tried every method he knew to get rid of them. Still they plagued him. Finally he wrote the department of agriculture. He enumerated all the things he had tried and closed his letter with the question: "What shall I do now?" In due course the reply came: "We suggest you learn to love them."
Anthony de Mello
There is much to love about dandelions. They might be one of the easiest plants to grow. :) Additionally, they are great at catching raindrops.

In the quiet of Pema Choling nunnery monastery in the Tang Valley a young monk seat in the doorway in a veil of light and shadow, gently holding a two-headed kitten. Nothing is questioned. In this moment, form gives way to presence, and compassion simply exists—silent, steady, and whole. It sounds crazy, but I realize it was a kitten with two-heads only when I download this image.

There's this lovely little artisan knife of Carol's with a sweet handle that has been travelling around the world. It has arrived at my house and was given a warm reception by three vintage Japanese spoons. It seems to like its new friends!

This picture was taken at 7:30 A.M., I'm still in my PJ's and I had a full realization.
I went through all the stages, and I've finally reached acceptance.
• Denial and isolation: "This isn't happening. This can't be happening. I feel like my family is so alone in this"
• Anger: "this is unfair! This is unjust! I have to do something about it!.How could the judge do this??"
• Bargaining: "Maybe we can appeal, maybe I can ask the New York Times to write another article.. maybe it will change something."
• Depression: "Nothing is ever going to change. I don't want to get up this morning. What's the point?"
• Acceptance: ".This is the situation. I can not alter it, so it's time to come to terms with it and help my brother. In the end, it is going to be okay. Right now he just needs the support of his family."
My little brother is stronger than I give him credit for. He will get through this. Our family is going to get through this. Life does indeed go on and like they always say "This too shall pass"
Today I am doing alot better. I have a clearer perspective.
This is not going to break my brother or my family, we will pull together and overcome it.
