This one might be a little removed from my usual seascape images........

I spotted some outdoor artwork whilst on a macro shoot with long time friend and fellow flickr photographer Joe Micallef at The Hunter Botanical Gardens at Heatherbrae NSW; Australia yesterday.

I've done a little enhancing and a big boost of saturation and contrast to give me this end image - hope you like it!

Some of us older flickr persons might recall the Psychedelic period of the 60's :-)

i've been wanting to try this for ages. im a huge fan of these sorts of abstract handheld shots and i really wanted to see if i could pull it off.

i'll definitely give it another go...

Wild, isn't it?

It's a cabinet door handle! The morning sun got refracted and reflected onto it, painting the white veneer with rainbows -- except where the handle cast a shadow.

A busy day and I did not feel inspired. I saw this puddle, took the picture had a quick look and said nah nothing there. Get back home open up the pictures and my eye was immediately drawn into this picture.
