Macro Mondays theme : Edge

I've heard that creativity gives you an edge .So I used the torn edges of paint chip samples to create an abstract.

Strobist setup:

quite predictably One strobe gelled blue camera right and one camera left gelled red. Triggered via cactus or similar wireless triggers.

Setup shot in the comments as well as more shots...

just foolin' around, leeds, uk

To avoid confusion with some group invitations, all of my images are created from blank. Any image from a photo is clearly marked as such

Took this image at school with the few ingredients we got. The drops were added in post-processing. The apple itself had ugly marks and was gross to look at, but Photoshop works wonders. The lettuce was also starting to rot so I had to work away some of the dark corners. At the end the result turned out pretty well!

There are laws and definitions

And decisions and errors

And unforeseen conditions

That define the course of history.

Day 14/366: Taken on a walk this morning along the beach from East Head to Bracklesham, West Sussex. There's no edits but some unwanted flare (is that over-exposure?) going on at top right.

The cover of Guillaume Apollinaire's 'Calligrammes', which I used for Macro Mondays 'printed word' challenge, became my starting point for a Monday morning abstract.
