Another detail look-up shot of Broadcasting Tower, Leeds. This part of the building consists of student accommodation for Leeds Beckett University across the road. It is clad in COR-TEN weathering steel to give it this rust-like appearance. Building completed in 2009. Architects: Feilden Clegg Bradley.

The Zwentendorf nuclear power plant in Lower Austria is the only completed nuclear power station in the world that never entered service. In a 1978 referendum the majority of Austrians voted against the use of nuclear energy. The structure, representing a true time capsule of the 70ies, can be visited.
I am not sure if the structure is actually an alternator, at least it made me think of one...
