The Uni-Credit building in Rome, Italy. Once I have further information, I will update this. Great shutters though!

A ground level view of the City of London that will soon be obscured by a new skyscraper.

On the right of this photo is the spire of St Botolphs Without Aldgate. This church was rebuilt in 1744. It is believed that a church has been on this site since 1125. The much newer buildings behind form part of London’s financial district.

This building is right down the street from my place. I was walking by yesterday and the late afternoon light was hitting it pretty nicely, and there were some cumulous clouds moving through. So I rushed home to get the gear, and got this one exposure off before the conditions changed. This was a tough one, and it's always awkward lying on your back stretched out across a sidewalk. I'm fairly certain this is an example of art deco. I've always liked this building and recently the facade had a face lift.

The Ravel Residence in Amsterdam is a complex that offers student housing. Its characteristic round windows reflect the surrounding area in the South of Amsterdam and are being reflected themselves in the surrounding waters.

The Victorian splendour of number 5, Lisle Street, Central London, reflected in the glass of its new neighbour.

While photographing this modern facade, I wanted to capture the architectural musicality created by these sunshades. My intention was to transform these functional elements into an abstract composition where light plays with horizontal lines. I chose black and white to strip down the image and emphasize rhythm and contrasts. By framing at an angle, I sought to create dynamic tension, as if these white lines were floating in space, like contemporary musical staves. Here, geometry becomes visual poetry, where each blade of light tells a part of architecture's modern story.

Looking directly East as the sun sets behind us. Taken from my balcony on Wabash Avenue @ 6:15 pm on an October evening. The Magnificent Mile, Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL. The effect lasted under 30 seconds and we never experienced it again. A "The moment" capture.

The 'Walkie Talkie' Building, 20 Fenchurch Street, London, UK.

Founded in 1897 by art historian George Fisk Comfort (co-founder of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City), the Everson has outgrown a number of facilities. This building was designed by I. M. Pei, and was opened in 1968. Both inside and out it is regarded as a work of art in its own right.
