For the Ladies.
No, this isn't me.........I don't have a cowboy hat that color.
This cowboy and his faithful dog are just one of 7 amazing bronze statues along Joseph Oregon's main street. Was fun watching many ladies come up and rub their hands over those abs, giggling like teenagers.
Joseph took it's name from the great Nez Perce Indian chief of that name. The area used to be the Nez Perce homeland.
Joseph is home to some incredible world class bronze foundries and artists. As the timber industry has slowed down Joseph has become a destination art and tourist town, as it sits next to the beautiful Eagle Cap Wilderness and Wallowa Mountains, nicknamed "The Alps of America."
I feel it is one of the best kept relatively unknown paradises in the PNW. Ssssshhhhh!
I'll post some more downtown statue images in the future.
