Har Koi Mast-e-Mai-e-Zauq-e-Tan Asani Hai,
Tum Musalman Ho? Ye Andaaz-e-Musalmani Hai?
he love of ease, like fumes of wine makes sots of you today,
How dare you pass as Mussalmans? That is not Islam’s way?
Haidari Faqr Hai Ne Doulat-e-Usmani Hai
Tum Ko Aslaaf Se Kya Nisbat-e-Rohani Hai?
Nor Usman’s treasure‐chest you own, Nor Ali’s empty bowl,
With spirits of such great forbears, What kinship has your soul?
Woh Zamane Mein Mu’azzaz The Musalman Ho Kar
Aur Tum Khawar Huwe Taarik-e-Quran Ho Kar
The honoured of their times, they lived, For theirs was true iman,
You live disgraced, as having left the paths of Al‐Quran.

گفتار میں ، کردار میں اللہ کی برہان
معانی: گفتار: بات چیت ۔ کردار: عمل ۔ برہان: دلیل، ثبوت ۔
مطلب: مرد مومن کی صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ ہر لمحہ ایک نئی شان ایک نئے شکوہ اور ایک نئے اکرام کی صورت میں ہوتا ہے ۔ وہ ایک جامد شے کی طرح منجمد نہیں ہوتا بلکہ ہر لمحہ ایک نئی شان کی صورت میں نمودار ہوتا ہے ۔ اس کی گفتگو سنیں یا اس کا عمل دیکھیں دونوں چیزیں اللہ تعالیٰ کی حجت ، دلیل اور نشانی ہوتی ہیں ۔ مر اد یہ ہے کہ مرد مومن کو دیکھ کر پتہ چلتا ہے کہ کوئی اللہ بھی ہے ۔ مرد مومن کو دیکھ کر خدا یاد آتا ہے ۔

معانی:: کہہ گئے ہیں : یعنی کسی کا قول ہے ۔ شاعری جزو یست از پیغمبری: بامقصد شاعری پیغمبری کا ایک حصہ ہے ۔ سروش: فرشتہ ۔
مطلب: ایک بڑے دانشور یہ نکتہ بیان کر گئے ہیں کہ اچھی شاعری عملاً پیغمبری کا جزو ہوتی ہے مراد یہ ہے کہ اچھی شاعری مسلمانوں کی صحیح سمت میں رہنمائی کرنے کی اہلیت رکھتی ہے ۔

مطلب: اس راز کی کسے خبر ہے یعنی بہت کم لوگ اس بات کو جانتے ہیں کہ وہ فقر جس میں قرآن کی روح ظاہر ہو ہزاروں مقام رکھتا ہے ۔ ان مقامات میں ایک مقام سلطانی یعنی بادشاہت کا ہے۔

Shikwa Allah Se Khakam Badahan Hai Mujh Ko
For I too have the gift of song which gives me courage to complain,
But ah! ‘tis none but God Himself whom I, in sorrow, must arraign!
جُرأت آموز مری تابِ سخن ہے مجھ کو
شکوہ اللہ سے، خاکم بدہن، ہے مجھ کو
معانی: جرات آموز: دلیری سکھانے والی ۔ تابِ سخن: بات کرنے کی طاقت ۔ خاکم بدہن: میرے منہ میں خاک ۔
مطلب: رب ذوالجلال نے تو مجھے ایسی قوت گویائی عطا کی ہے جو بڑی جرات اور حوصلے کی حامل ہے ۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ خاکم بدہن میں اب اپنے پالنے والے سے ہی شکوہ و شکایت کر رہا ہوں ۔

Among the idol temples of the world the first is that house of God;
We are its keepers; it is our keeper.
فِي مَعابِدِ الدُّنْيا أَوَّلُ بَيْتٍ لِلّهِ،
نَحْنُ الحافِظُ لَهُ، وَهُوَ الحافِظُ لَنا
دنیا کے بُتکدوں میں پہلا وہ گھر خدا کا
ہم اُس کے پاسباں ہیں، وہ پاسباں ہمارا
The Kaaba is not just the first house of Allah, it is the heart of our unity. It reminds us that no matter where we live, we are one Ummah, standing together in faith, in strength, and in responsibility. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stand united in a defense pact, a living example of Muslim brotherhood, protected by Allah’s will.

Khudi Hai Taeg, Fasan La Ilaha Illallah
The secret of the self is hid, In words "No god but He alone."
The self is just a dull-edged sword, "No god but He," the grinding stone.
