Awesome is an overused word, but the power of Storm Imogen truly was awesome. I wasn't going to post any more images of the waves I witnessed last Monday, but I've been going through some shots I took in Brighton yesterday and was struck by the incredible contrast, so I thought I'd do just one more.
Or maybe it should say “Azreals”. Anyway, these are my two versions of Azreal, a really awesome character that I know very little about.
The one on the left is my own interpretation of Azreal and my personal favorite of the two.
And then there is Az-Bat, who I have had for a while. If you have been following me since about February, then you should remember this Fig.
That’s all folks! Stay Awesome

Driving across the Black Mountains, as we came to the brow of the hill this was the view in front of us, we just had to stop to take a photo.
This photo will be featured in Wales Online in the Western Mail's Postcard of Wales feature (on the daily Letters page) on Saturday, May 21st 2016.

16 things about myself:
1) Thinks that Vladimir Nabokov is one of the greatest writers which English language has ever produced.
2) Until now, black is his favorite color.
3) Intermittently suffers from a short term memory loss. Has lost his bicycle several times before remembering where he left it.
4) Likes snow but not snowfall.
5) Is amazingly good at forgetting names but remembering faces.
6) Thinks bantering comes to him naturally. Once he gets to know someone (i.e. gather initial required data to start bantering), it could be fun ;-).
7) Has tried several times to start and maintain a blog but has never made it.
8) In some cultures 8 is an auspicious number. But what does this has to do with me?
9) Firmly believes that in a movie/novel, more important than a story is the manner in which it is unrolled to the viewer/reader. Take “Pulp Fiction” as an example. Well, this doesn’t apply to most Bollywood movies, since they lack both.
10) Is trying very hard to learn French. Mais, quel dommage! :-)
11) Loves Italian cuisine, apart from Indian, offcourse!
12) Firmly believes that inventor of the microwave should be laureated with a Nobel Prize. Probably a peace prize for his invention which has quelled several social unrests ;-)
13) Wada Pav and Misal Pav are two of his favorite snacks.
14) Loves to watch Roger Federer play Tennis.
15) Thinks that there’s probably no God.
16) One of his favorite lines is:
"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."
Original Version:
"Les hommes ont oublié cette vérité, dit le renard. Mais tu ne dois pas l’oublier. Tu deviens responsable pour toujours de ce que tu as apprivoisé. "
-- The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint Exupéry
The waters rose, and the tides shifted. Everything that we knew and loved about the world before the collapse disappeared under the steadily rising green murk.
As if green murky water and rapidly vanishing coastlines didn't suck enough, some cosmic god with a funny sense of humor threw zombies into the mix.
So on top of a low food supply, and very little potable water, we got something that wanted to eat our brains as the Pièce de résistance.
Welcome to The Blockhouse, enjoy your stay. As short as it may be...
Entry number one for the MocAthalon.
Category #18: The walking dead.
If you're interested in seeing more pictures, they'll be uploaded on Mocpages later today (or whenever they get their image problem fixed).
Participated in the everyday messenger bag Kickstarter by Peak Design. Got the bag two weeks ago (finally!) and have to say it surpassed my expectations: it's really awesome!
It has lots of space for two bodies and few lenses + 15" Macbook etc but one can overstuff it to be too heavy :D
The bag is really well thought and has minor details that helps when photographing. Highly recommended! If Peak Design creates a good backbag, I'll buy it, too!

This was one awesome paint job! Actually, the whole car was awesome, from the engine compartment to the interior or undercarriage. He blew a tire during the burn out contest which caused a rupture in one of his airbags on his suspension. He had it replaced and fixed in an hour or so... : )
Taken at the GM Nationals, Carlisle Pa.
Played with this for a while and came up with this awesome abstract bubble reflection. Thanks dad for your help.
This thing is an absolute beast. So awesome to see and hear. I spent more time watching than I did shooting… but we’ll worth it.

The cockpit of C-GKQO, an Embraer ERJ 190-400 STD E195-E2, at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, Ontario.
It had just arrived as POE169 (Porter Airlines (Canada) Limited) from Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.
Serial number 19020075 still had that "new plane" smell, as it was delivered on February 2, 2023.
Sooc. No editing.
One Year ago this week I first took my dslr out to try taking photos.
I had zero clue how to use it and have fumbled through the past year with huge help from my awesome friend, Paul J (thank you so much for your insane patience), Youtube videos, and admiring all the stunning photos here on flickr. Thank you to everyone who has commented and favourited, and a big thank you to people who have offered advice/constructive criticism.
I still have soo much to learn but there is no way a year ago I would have been able to 'see' this picture and be able to take it.
Right, that's soppy enough.

i know that its a weird shot with a lot of editing and all.
something from my archives.
trying to keep my flickr stream alive.
First off, I apologize for the lack of content over the weekend. I had to take the ACT, go to a wedding, help at two church events, and I haven’t been feeling 100%. But, I’m back, and I’ve got some cool stuff to post.
So this is Firefly. The wings were originally on an OC villain that I will post soon, but I felt that they would look great on this guy. I threw together a flamethrower and boom! Firefly is complete.
I tried a new photo set-up with a white background, so let me know what y’all think about that. That’s all for now! Stay Awesome

The general idea is this Asian Army tried to invade Sparta. The king (On horseback) and all his elitist warriors came and attacked first. They got slaughtered. The king’s horse got killed and the King got stabbed soon after. When all hope was lost the King’s second-in-command ordered all the archers to fire. What was left of the army found arrows raining down of them. The Spartans didn’t have a single casualty, but the ground in front of them was littered with arrow filled corpses. 3 weeks and 2 full up vultures (Credit goes to Legohaulic for the wicked design) later and the second-in-command leads the armies not-so-elite soldiers to their inevitable death.
Based off 300, but obviously I made this whole battle up. I know it’s not accurate; I used my imagination, I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N. So don’t go yelling at me ‘bout all that historical nonsense. I apologize for the crappy pictures/MOC, it’s my first time building a scene this big. It’s also my first historical MOC and it is 100% purist!
I love glaciers!!
Northwestern Glacier Kenai Fjords National Park Alaska.
Just back from a second visit to the awesome landscapes of Alaska. A day's boat trip from Seward into Kenai Fjords National Park. Wonderful wildlife and stunning coastal and mountain scenery. Everywhere we visited the impacts of warming temperatures were clear. This image of Northwestern Glacier calving shows a tiny part of its rapid retreat. I would love to visit all the US National Parks.......hopefully. Truly "America's Best Idea"
