Before the Sun rises above the horizon - the marsh seems to be slowly awakening with soft pastel light and color, rising fog, and birds and animals heading out for morning meals. (although I think I spooked this Heron!).
Here is my Shady girl, she just woke up from bathing in the sun in the sofa. It’s a dreary morning today, I took this a few days ago. Shot RAW mode.
Lake Rowallan near the Walls of Jerusalem in central Tasmania. A man made lake, which is currently very empty while they are doing some major construction works to the dam itself.
I'd say these trees would normally be completely submerged when the dam is full. It's like seeing ghosts reappear from some dreamtime.
