I am continuing my owl theme with this eastern screech owl ( Gray morph). Usually when I see screech owls, they are fast asleep. This owl was wide awake, watching the other birds and interested in something in the far distance. I was super excited to see one awake in nice light :-).

No not a real dragon but it looks a bit like one to me. It is in fact the wreck of the Helvetia ship on Rhossili Beach. The ship was wrecked in a storm in 1887.

I took some pictures of the setting sun during my evening walk with my dog. Most of them were not really worth keeping, so I started to remove them, until I looked at the last one. I was caught be the mix of the dark, blurry sky and the very detailed silhouettes of the trees in the background and the beautiful green corn in front of the picture.
It is said that the Buddha passed a man on the road who was struck by the Buddha's extraordinary radiance and peaceful presence. The man stopped and asked,-My friend, what are you? Are you a celestial being or a god?-;-;No,-- said the Buddha. -;Well, then, are you some kind of magician or wizard?-;Again the Buddha answered -;No.-; -;Are you a man? When Sethi is at home he is usually fast asleep or he is at least very tired and can hardly keep his eyes open. This was one of the rare moments when he was wide awake, probably because I had fed him and he was ready for new adventures in the big outdoors.
