The Spanish Naval Harrier - OK, McDonnell Douglas EAV-8B Matador II+ - takes off to begin it's display at the 2014 Farnborough International Airshow.

Despite the forecast of lightning sufficient to bring the World to an end, the weather was hot and humid and would have made this bird feel very much at home.
