We had one of those days where we sat in the drive started our vehicle, hit the noisy pedal, let go the steering wheel and just saw where the car took us.
Following our early start, stopping at various locations during the day for a bit of a mooch, a bite to eat, plus coffee and cake shops we ended up here at Godrevy.
I looked everywhere for a big red van, shouted the name Brenda (name of van) numerous times just incase she had a new paint job, as I half expected to bump into Dom Houghton who spends a lot of time here with his camera, well in fact it is nearly his second home.
Never mind there will be other times Dom.
It was a beautiful evening, Mrs P sat on the rocks and read while I attempted to get two or three shots at this wonderful location.
As always I really appreciate the time you take to view and comment on my shots.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do taking them.
I read recently that it is law you must turn on your headlights when it’s raining in Sweden, but how am I supposed to know when it’s raining in Sweden 😂
Have a lovely weekend, the comments and banter are so appreciated

More playing with the social aspect of the Autonomous Node Economy framework. Here personal space and group clustering are driving the motivation of each node (e.g. desired movement). All nodes are visualized as spirographs that display aspects of their current behavioral state. There are no external forces acting on the individual nodes by the overall system, each node freely moves as it desires.
This sketch was done in Processing.
Here is my (first) entry to this years 'rovery run'.

Autonomous missile platform, circa 1951. I wanted an excuse to use those "Slope 45 10 x 2 x 2 double" as chest armour or something. He started off with bigger legs but as it evolved the short and squat look became more appealing. His buggy eyes remind me of some of those A.I. generated photos of people with wide-eyed stares and the seem to follow you around the room...
Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turrets (IATT) are pre-assembled heavily armoured turrets that were quickly mounted nearby important fortifications. The twin-barreled turbolasers served as heavy anti-capital ship weapons and could also annihilate any ground vehicle at very long range. There were however too slow to reliably target fast starfighters. They could punch through both deflector shields and armour on spaceships with the heaviest defensive layers.
The IATT did not need to be physically connected to any infrastructure as it contained a small power generator to operate. It also contains inside its basement a small hangar bay with a speeder that an operator could use.

Three driverless vehicles built for the Antares Union Outpost display at BrickFair Virginia 2021.
