Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus died that death for YOU and I. The good news is there no more punishment for sin left, we were and are all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Matthew the Apostle, also known as Saint Matthew and possibly as Levi, was, according to the New Testament, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. According to Christian traditions, he was also one of the four Evangelists as author of the Gospel of Matthew, and thus is also known as Matthew the Evangelist, a claim rejected by most biblical scholars, though the "traditional authorship still has its defenders."
Kytaiv Desert or Holy Trinity Kytaiv Desert - Orthodox headhunting monastery. It is located on the southern outskirts of Kyiv, in the tract of Kytaiv.

Also in photographic terms, I can avail myself of the best cameras and lenses on the market, I can read what famous authors say about how to tell a visual story but without the love for adventure, I am nothing.
Shot taken on June 27th 2012 at 10:42 p.m. from the summit of Mount Rocciamelone (3.538 m), Italy, as the moon (phase 57%) continued its slow journey to the west.
After moonset I took a bunch of interesting photos to the starry sky (then published in various magazines).
I've always postponed the consideration of this photo because I thought the scenery was a bit "chaotic"... anyway, all in all I think it expresses quite well what it means to be above a sea of clouds at night.
On the right we have the moon, while on the left is perfectly visible the Scorpius constellation.
Under the "primordial ocean" of clouds are filtering the lights of the Susa valley 3.000 meters below.

It is a toast for book-makers, i.e. authors.
Toast with eggsalad, pickled cucumber, chives, Miguel Vergara Striploin from "my" local butchershop and Parmesan sauce on top.
Not bad for a lunch, home alone.

After photographing Jarik as a newborn (and his mother as pregnant with him), it was fun to meet this adorable guy again for his one year old photos last year.
His family and dog also joined in on some photos, which I will show later on.

Pairi Daiza (formerly Paradisio) is a privately owned zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The 65-hectare (160-acre) large animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 4,000 animals.[1] The name is taken from the Avestan word pairi daeza, which is the source of the English word paradise.

After putting some space between me and the checkpoint, I changed out of the flamboyant uniform and into my usual outfit. Kusror, who had just arrived from Vala's ship, greeted me at our rendezvous point.
My next assignment: I would be disabling the base of and taking out the leader of the Futurists, a group who worked against our cause and for the remnant Empire. After searching the streets, Kusror and I found the specified location: an old 'abandoned' warehouse, which now served as the base for the Futurists.
I glanced over at Kusror, who nodded, and we both smashed through a window and into the building. We had taken the Futurists by surprise, and I was able to easily take out a few of them and eventually their leader, who was a Chiss sporting some sort of Mandalorian armor.
Just as we placed the bombs to detonate the warehouse, I noticed a hooded figure dash through a side door and into an alleyway. Before the figure disappeared, a flash from what seemed to be a medallion or insignia on their chest blinded me. After recovering from the flash, I pursued the figure through the door, only to find a bustling street full of civilians; the figure had vanished.
Kusror ran out to me. "Let's go, the warehouse will blow any second." Still puzzled about the mysterious figure, Kusror dragged me out the door and into the alleyway. Just a few moments later, I heard an explosion, and looked through the door to see a fiery mess of the Futurists' hideout. The mission was complete.

Korean-American Author Chang-rae Lee being interviewed as part of the Chicago Humanities Festival earlier today. I just finished reading his last novel, On Such a Full Sea, which is very interesting and only slightly dystopian. Recommended!
Chang-rae Lee talked quite a bit about his positive relationship with his mother, his amazing female heroine Fan who is an integral part of On Such a Full Sea and wanting to create a heroine for his daughters to love, growing up in Queens, NYC in the 1980s, trends now in terms of competitiveness in class in the US, and industry in China. He has a very calming voice as well as an intelligent one and I enjoyed hearing him.

I also saw Salman Rushdie before him but was too far away so only posted a screen shot from my phone on Instagram:
(Usually I have an all cats Instagram posting on Caturday so that's really something!) Rushdie was also great to see interviewed. He possesses such a great insight and humor sumultaneously. He made me laugh quite a bit and when I told him in person how much Ground Beneath Her Feet (my favorite novel of his) means to me, he acted as if that actually mattered, which is nice.
Also, not pictured, I had the delight to see Sarah Vowell as part of the Chicago Humanities Festival a week an a half ago at the Chicago Art Institute. She was quite hilarious as usual and had a great deal to say about modern art and politics. She also talked to me during the signing and said something like this,
"It's really cool the way the light from above hits your red hair in this certain way that you can't obviously see because you're not me sitting here looking at you." It was pretty funny. Overall, a really amazing Chicago Humantiies Lineup this time around!
