Every once in awhile I go through a " let's experiment artistically stage". I guess that's how I got in to photography to begin with. It helped me grow as a musician and it's helps me grow as a photographer as well. One of these days I'll combine the 2.

When seen from a distance, the aura of the grass was so thick it appeared that a cloud had settled on the ground.

A purple aura means creativity, ideas, and enlightenment. Having an aura this color can indicate all of these things, as well as the healing, cleansing, and soothing of the soul.
Tonight, my senses are misty like rare black Orchid flowers, everything is clearer in a moment when time freezes.
Even in our supplication rituals to the unknown creator, we can be held captive by the chains of arrogance, far from the awareness of our helplessness. As soon as you begin to be purified in the infinity of feelings, you will break your chains and see that everything is possible.

There's a very special light, indeed, in the Autumn. It's a clear light, almost crystalline in its purity. The light itself seems to impart something of an otherworldly nature our surroundings. Like Spring, the blaze of Autumn colour seems to offer another explosion of hue, to bookend or bracket the summer at it's tail end.
This light and the feelings it brings about creates a kind of aura around that season that seems to facilitate reflection and a turning inward.
The title is a play on Aurora Borealis, the northern lights. Here the title implies a particularly northern "aura" and in the Fall, especially as a Canadian, one is very much in tune with this "northern aura". It's in our very DNA.
