We will have fog during the spring season now and then. Though it bothers some people ( such as flight or transportation related), we love it very much. I visited this shooting spot to get some beautiful foggy night shots.
今天凌晨大雷雨，料想傍晚應該會出琉璃大景，助航站人山人海、水洩不通，我就移到下方涼亭，拍攝北海福座方向，這個角度沒拍過，剛好來練練功夫。

This traditional Chinese style architecture is very beautifully standing among fog wave after sunset. The city lights were glowing around. You may be curious what is that tower for. It is an ash niche tower. Look like a fairy land.

Interplanetary Travel
A sea of white clouds was in front of me that day. While my eyes were watching this unique view, my mind started to remember the past. This was the first time my mind took me back to my past. And what caused this was the unique white color of the clouds standing in front of me. The white color reminded me of my lover. In front of this sea of white clouds, the only thing that came to my mind was that white skin of my lover. A smile formed on my face when I remembered my girlfriend's beautiful skin. I went back to those years when I fell in love. And I started to remember more. I remembered my girlfriend's smile, her hair, the beautiful tone of her voice, and the scent of her skin that I admired. My mind was like taking me back in time. At first, this made me happy. It was good for me to remember the past, those good memories. It made me forget my loneliness a little bit. However, after a while, this situation began to cause fractures in my soul. My longing has increased. I couldn't help but think about my past. I began to question myself and my space travel. I even thought of ending my space travel many times. Why was I thinking all this? My past was taking over me. I was starting to get stuck in my past. When I end my space travel and return to planet Earth, nothing will ever be the same as in the past. My friends, my lover, my family... None of them existed anymore. I would be even more alone in the world. A greater solitude awaited me there. But I still couldn't help but think. Could I start all over again when I returned to Earth? Could I make friends again? Could I fall in love again? These were the questions that gave me hope. The hope I need to be able to come back to life was hidden in the answers I would give to these questions. However, I never gave an answer to these questions. I continued my journey through dark space. I was now farther from Earth and almost irreversible. Maybe this was the right place for me. Depths of space. Still, I couldn't help but think about my past. Even though I was so far from the world, the good memories of the past continued to occupy my mind. Remembering those beautiful memories I had on planet Earth made me happy in this huge vacuum of space. As time progressed, this put me in my current mood. My mind was starting to confuse reality with fantasy. My dreams were traveling with me in dark space. And this situation became unstoppable for me. This space travel has now turned into a mind war for me. It's a war where I try to separate my real and imaginary worlds. And I was alone in this war.

There are 2 typhoons forming and nearby Taiwan. However, the sky is not that clear for shooting. I stay at home to practice my newly learned panorama image merging skill.

This valley is famous for its fog at night. The city lights will be dizzy and beautiful through the wave of fog.

I spent 5 hours staying at the top of Mt. Datun last night. It was rainy and cold up there. However, there were about 30 photographers around me. This is the scene we were waiting for.
昨天是清明假期的第一天，掃墓活動結束後，就與二嫂一起上山，大屯山人山人海熱鬧非凡，雖然風雨交加，但是大家的熱情依舊。很開心，還遇到文子新熊、Tom Liang與張育榮，簡直就是福利課台北幫聚會。
差點就可以見到高森，一憾～

There is a special weather phenomena in autumn and spring of Taipei-- a layer of cloud will cover the city but city lights can still be seen through during the night time. I am very crazy for shooting this cloudy scene and April 4th was the day I got it this spring. This was the last shot before I left there. Looking forward to seeing it again this autumn.
今年的平流霧只拍到過一次，就是四月四號那天，下山時，在巴拉卡公路上，又見到出景，依依不捨地下車再拍幾張，發現有竹子湖為前景，也是很美，101也在遠方閃耀～今年秋季再見啦！

I have a special feeling about this mountain since I spent 7 years of my childhood in this area. It was extremely fascinating during the spring season because of fog. Under twilight, it reminds me of the happy childhood ~

The sunset above the sea of clouds was such an unforgettable one and I would like to share more shots from that day. The way on the right hand side is the drive way to the shooting spot. Its height is 1,008m above the sea level. The clouds are quite rare in this season and only can be seen during the winter or autumn.

The sunset of last night at Mt. Yanming is a memorial one. Only the sunset was a gorgeous one, the after glow was a brilliant one too. I was so lucky~

The same day of visiting Cherry Blossom, I also went to the Mt. Datun again to shoot the lights pollution. This time I did not wait at all. It was foggy all the time and I stayed there only for 2 hours~ just love the beautiful spring fog very much!
周四那天拍完天元宮夜櫻，即再衝大屯山，心想平地大霧，山上必有琉璃光，果然，這次完全沒有等，美麗的春季大霧與琉璃光就在那兒等著我們，超喜歡春天的~

This is the first time I would like to cut my photo as 16:9 since there was nothing in the sky and front grass ground. The sea of clouds made the Mt. Kuan-yin like an island, right? Love this scene very much.

I have been dreaming to shoot this phenomena for a long time. Some people may call this as "light pollution". I still love to the city lights changing colors through the changeable frog. I got lots of shots last weekend after 7 hours of waiting on the top of Mountain Datun. The frog looks like gauze after long exposure~
有人說琉璃光基本上就是光害，但是我還是超愛這景象，上周末在大屯山等待7個小時候，終於拍到的大屯山琉璃光，至今還是念念不忘，只是這瘋狂的舉動，應該會好一陣子不會再做了~
此張照片用Lightroom 4.0版編輯，發現暗部細節較優，雲海中的山巒表現更有層次感。

Since there are too many photos in my hard drive, I deleted almost all of my old camera shots this week. However, I still saved the shots I took at this night. I may not be able to meet this kind of beautiful scene in the future.

Advection fog occurs when moist air passes over a cool surface by advection (wind) and is cooled. The advection of fog along the Taiwan coastline is propelled onto land by one of several processes. A cold front can push the marine layer coast ward. It is typical in the spring or late fall. It happened around mid-night and the city lights can be seen through the fog. We all love to photography it since it looks like crystal light to us~
平流霧（Advection fog）是當暖濕空氣平流流經較冷水面或陸地時，暖濕氣流遇冷混合冷卻凝結成霧。通常在春季和秋末時分，平流霧會從台灣海峽往陸地方向移動，往往可持續較長時間，除非風向轉變或停止，平流霧才會消散，春季較常出現在夜間。

今天拜表妹之福氣，原本想要中途折返的我，沒想到竟然遇到夢寐以求的，大屯山版雲海夕陽，超感動的，為七月畫下完美的句點！

雲海が時間とともに下がるのではなく、突然、山の頂上までぐぐっと上昇し、また中腹まで引き、しばらくたってまた上昇と、これを３、４回繰り返しました。
小松山にある天守が雲海に沈んだり浮かんだりを何度も繰り返すのは、スリリングな迫力があったです。
