For the 5th Challenge that asked for a futuristic avant-garde styling representing an astrological sign, I have chose Cancer.
In astrology, Cancer is the cardinal sign of the Water trigon, which is made up of Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio. It's ruling planet is the Moon and the colors of the sign are gray and silver. Women born under the sing of Cancer are considered to be feminine, intuitive, caring and loyal.
To reprenset Cancer, I have created an outfit drawing inspiration iin the work of the avant-garde designer tIris van Harpen and her 3D printed garments as well as in the work of Guo Pei. Both designers at two of my favorites.
Since Cancer is a water sign, I used hairpieces to create a hairdo that incorporates the ripples of the sea, as well as ruffled sleeves for the foamy waves. I complrete my outfits with metallic pants, thus combining different textures that fit an avant-garde styling.

Lately, I’ve been into celestial motifs. I have a bunch of earrings with suns, moons, and stars. This sheer shirt continues the theme.
Astrology is entertaining, but not my thing. I am a Scorprio, but don’t find myself aligning with much of the sign description.

Taken out in the desert on a very nice spring day. The sign in the area states that, these "pumpkins" are a result of wind and water continuously eroding the surface soil and revealing these globular sandstone creations, called rock concretions. These are believed to be formed by natural cementing sand particles to a small object.
