Astral INS116 at low tide in Lossiemouth, circa 1990. Built by Nobles of Girvan in 1975 when wooden hull boats were still the norm. I'd guess the shelter deck came later.

Previously flew for Delta Air Lines (N105DA), ABX Air (N742AX) & West Atlantic Airlines (SE-RLC) before delivery to Astral Aviation in 2021.
Extremely happy with the outcome & also very lucky as Astral operates just one 762F so it's difficult to capture with all the delays. And the day started off with intermittent sunshine before transitioning to fine blue sky weather.

[We shot at a replica Stonehenge that is located in Washington! It was insanely windy, as the area itself is a wind tunnel. The wind really wore me, the models, and Christine out, but we persevered in the face of adversity!

Single long lightpainting exposure. Two tripods, two locations (nearby thankfully), Lens cap between, perfect spring night with a clear sky in the darkness hearing the critters rustling in the brush always adds some excitement. Gelled flash for the first portion with a jump, followed by red lights, just a bit of green lighting used at station/tripod number 2 and a tad bit of time to let some stars and tree silhouettes burn in. I saw this nice stand of pine trees while out hiking today between taking some osprey photos at the pond. Looking up it made me think of…and I was reminded of the R Digi shots in this style. A definite inspiration in lightpainting, he has some killer shots. I was going to just have a few beers and watch a movie but opted to venture out in the dark and give my twist on this style a whirl. Now time for beer…ha...
