I was looking through some film prints of mine- yes I did use film and an old manual camera once upon a time- and I found these photos from last summer. These are from my third trip with the Appalachia Service Project through my cousin's church. The group is down in Appalachia right now, but I decided that one Appalachian trip per year was good for me- I am now in charge of the Appalachia service group at my college.
I loved this girl. Such a sweet, smart, tomboy. The kids couldn't help us enough. We had to kick them off their own porch sometimes because they bent too many nails!
