Seems to be a bit of a Blackwood pastime throwing trolleys over the fence at the retail park; this was the second in about twenty yards. There was a third, Asda, trolley pushed off the other side of Cliff Road, into the valley.
This was a Netto store a few weeks ago, but has been converted to an ASDA as part of their rush into smaller shops (ASDA have competed with Tesco etc for warehouse sized supermarkets for many years, but lacked smaller shops which can charge more money for fewer goods). The takeover of Netto's UK shops is their way into this market, and they are spending 2011 converting them, like this one in Sheffield
A trolley day this afternoon. There were three trolleys in this immediate area, plus I had already told off three young girls seen further up Maendy Way, wheeling a Morrison’s trolley.

An Asda BMX trolley? This trolley has been abandoned by a BMX track laid out by local youths at the top entrance to The Rec playing field.
