Standard ASDA handbasket, yes, exactly the style same as the blue Walmart ones. One difference I did notice at this and the other ASDA I visited was both stores had a LOT of baskets available, like 100-150 in multiple stacks by the entryway, vs. a typical US Walmart which might have a stack of 25 on a good day.

An Asda trolley dumped in bushes by the “fat barrier” on the footpath leading up from Thornhill Road. In fairness, trolleys are seldom seen in this area.
This is probably a trolley I recently uploaded, described as having been pulled from the canal. Well, it's on a second dunking.
Now, did it jump, did it fall, or was it pushed? Whichever way, I hope no one was underneath when it went over the wall from the retail park.
One might think that the stack of 100 discs on the left were £10 and the stack of 100 discs on the right, with spindle and carry handle, were £14 - but one would be wrong as I found when I bought the ones without handle. They are both £14 and the £10 price tag refers to something else which isn't there :-(
A pleasant young man told me that I could change the ones I'd bought for the ones with the handle - but I didn't bother as I have some discs on a spindle and when I've used them I'll put the new ones on that .
An Asda trolley pushed down the slope of the Sirhowy valley off the end of High Street. It seems Blackwoodians are as cavalier with supermarket trolleys as Cwmbranites.
