Regulars, and others, had to be on their toes - should the liveried decker be out of service, one in fleet garb would be 'Asda' for the day. Thankfully the Burslem depot blinds were spot on when needed.

An Olympian on its way up out of Audley

The coolest sink in a public toilet I have ever seen. You push the black touch sensitive button and a wee (pardon the pun) spray of water squirts out.

ASDA was quiet and no one else was in. I don't usally take photos in toilets :-)

The Wii U section in ASDA is a sight to behold. They've even cut down a Mario Kart 8 cover and crammed it in to a 3ds case. High quality merchandising.

Seen on the M3 near Fleet.

Asda container on a Stobart/malcom train heading north.

I appreciate a gesture by Asda, but I can’t quite grasp the practicalities of this offer. How many people aged over sixty can easily afford to buy a meal? I mean, if Alan Sugar were to take advantage of this offer would they refuse him? Also, I can picture their cafeteria packed with over 60s scoffing their bread and soup and hogging tables while they consume their unlimited hot drinks, regular customers forced to move elsewhere. I wonder how long it will last.

And again, after finishing at Asda, will these people go to Morrison’s and “ask Henry” for a free meal?

The small, local shops sadly run out of bread, etc., unless it is ordered.

I suppose technically it isn't in the disabled space - apart from half the wheels.

And it's an Alfa as well, the shame.

Not quite a leather clad Marianne Faithful on a motorbike I suppose. An Asda trolley abducted from the store and taken to Old Cwmbran.

Seems to be a bit of a Blackwood pastime throwing trolleys over the fence at the retail park; this was the second in about twenty yards. There was a third, Asda, trolley pushed off the other side of Cliff Road, into the valley.
