Still in operation at ASDA's Middlesborough branch - I hadn't seen an ASDA Drive-thru petrol station in years. I think the Edinburgh Jewel branch had one.
A triumph for the little people! The most logical route from the main pedestrian path south of the town centre to the new shops in Harlow is via the fire escape of Asda's car park.
At first Asda did all they could to discourage pedestrians from using this route. Eventually logic won out and they now appear to concede that we will use this route come what may!

Ready to depart Huddersfield Bus Station is an Optare Solo M710SE with Stotts Huddersfield, a small independent operator in the metropolitan borough of South Kirklees, West Yorkshire. This vehicle is YK05 CCN.
This vehicle was new to Metroline, London in 2005 and was used for their 346 Watford Asda service. This vehicle stayed with Metroline up until 2009 where the vehicle was then purchased by Stotts for their local Huddersfield routes to replace the old step entrance Mercedes-Benz m709D minibuses as they were no longer compliant for West Yorkshire METRO bus contracts. This vehicle received a fresh lick of paint and has been doing routes across South Kirklees, and the Colne and Holme Valleys since 2009 receiving a few repaints to keep up the vehicle looking tidy.
