I returned from a morning walk before the sun was up to discover this wondrous cloud hovering over the house. The light coming from within it seemed supernatural. It also reminded me of a brain synapse structure. It soon departed, morphing into something else and evaporating. Photo taken December 19, 2019.

Union Pacific 2521 leads a manifest freight, crossing from Main 1 to Main 2 at the east end of Riverdale Yard.
Meanwhile, UP 9257 pilots a hot piggyback train along Main No. 3, a bypass which avoids Riverdale Yard entirely, running directly to Bridge Junction along 31st Street Ogden, Utah.
Arrived in Hawaii last night, its crazy beautiful here!! Our room got upgraded to an ocean view, I think there was a mix up or something.. but its insane :)

This morning, we had a new arrival ! This young buckskin mare is one of the many horses I've saw during my vacations and she's here with us. She just want to be loved but is too shy let us touch her, so she would come close to you with her ears pointed forward, her nostrils wide open but you won't be able to touch that soft nose of her ! We'll work on it little girl, you'll be loved.

Apparently an image for "No Window Wednesday" ;) And another photo of the Bauhaus Halensee façade which is not entirely without windows because there are large windows (window walls, even) in both entrance areas but that's it.
After flipping the image horizontally and vertically, the façade looked like an incoming spaceship to me. There are different types of "alien invasion" or "alien arrival" science-fiction movies, the majority of them with a dystopian storyline of aliens who came to assume world domination or eliminate humanity but there are a few ones that depict a positive image of alien lifeforms. Whether the crew of this "spaceship" falls into the first or the last category for you depends solely on whether you are a DIY person or not ;)
The image is a true HDR made of bracketing (three photos) combined in HDR Efex with minimal extra adjustments afterwards such as the image flipping and some tweaking of the primary sliders for blue and green in LR.

A family group of african elephants (Loxodonta africana) arrive happily at a waterhole in the Timbavati Reserve, South Africa
It's tea-time and a couple of straggler commuters make their way over the splendid footbridge at Eastleigh towards the station entrance, and probably home.
Meantime their departing train, a class 450 EMU, disappears towards Southampton ready to disgorge another group.
